For those who do not know, due to the recent bushfires Australian Tourism is dwindling, especially in areas around the South Coast and Canberra. No tourism means struggling businesses and for those of you who know me, know how much I love to suppport local.
Therefore, in spirit of the #holidayherecbr campaign currently being run by Visit Canberra, here are some reasons why you need to Holiday Here!

Although we have been revenged by fires recently, Canberra’s Nature is still beautiful and well worth a visit. With most hiking tracks still available and some of the main attractions still being open for business, like the National Arboretum or National Botanical Gardens, Canberra’s nature reserves are still quite alive and well, be sure to come check them out.
